View element

Hi everyone I am fairly new to Ninox and this is my first post lol, I have a question that most of you maybe able to figure out in a jiffy.

I have a table called Claims where I can select a creditor and debtor and put in their information. I want to create a view element in my Creditors table to only show the Claims of the Creditor that I am in at the time. 

I have been trying a few things and researching but nothing works as yet, any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to Ninox.

    First, are you using dynamic choice fields in Claims to select creditor and debtor or are you using reference fields?

    If you are using reference fields, then you should already see a table in Creditors that show you the linked claim records.

    If you are using dynamic choice fields, then there is a bit more coding involved.

    Now, let me ask you can a creditor be a debtor and vice versa? Why do I ask? Well you say you have a Creditor table. So I guess you have a Debtor table as well. But if a creditor can be a debtor and vice versa then you are duplicating information. Maybe consider making one table of just people/organizations that you can then assign to either creditor or debtor.
