In a base when I enable the groupe function of a column, the number of id indicates the number of same items in each group

Eg I can see id 3 id 12 id 5 that means : 3 apples, 12 pears, 5 bananas.

In an other base the id fields are empty…I don't know how itemps are in each groups.

I wonder why and if someone could help me.
