    Ashly

    I have a table with 800,000 records.

does it slow :- The short answer is yes in terms of loading that table on initial opening. There after it is still very very quick

ie I can search my file for say "smith" and the filtered list is return within about 2-3 seconds!!

Ninox say they have natural index optimised/built in. But any filed canalso be indexed

as yes I see no deifference if I index or not!

... My table with the 800,000 records take about 6-8 seconds to load (I'm using cloud version - wireless!)

Global search to that table is near instant!

Batch update querys etc to that table - do take a little longer !!

    Hope that helps

Appologies that should have read using wired connection (not wireless!)

I'm on 100mb fibre - just unplugged cable and tried it as wireless from fresh login then opened that table

took about 40 secs - search still only taking a few secs :-)
