Programming reference manuals

I am looking for a good book about programming to help me learn how to program Ninox  databases. I am not sure whether to purchase a book on java script or something else. If there is a particular book that somebody could recommend that would be really awesome. Thanks in advance for any help that anybody can give me.

I'm not sure there is a good answer for this. Most of my experience programming prior to finding Ninox had been in dBase and that was decades ago. The best source of information about programming with Ninox is the Forum, some of the Webinar databases and the Reference page...

You could get a book on JavaScript, but you would get a lot of information that wouldn't apply to Ninox. Also, there are many online resources where you can get the basics of programming.

I forgot to mention Nioxus. I haven't really used it as learning resource, but here is the link to their "University"...

The Nioxus Learning channel on youtube has 40 videos (more are being added each month). They are excellent, free, and can be viewed at:

For those who purchase a subscription at their website, they have numerous templates.

I have a background in SQL and Postgres.   I have done a lot of database work, but Ninox is not as Freeform as most of the databases that I have worked with.   The programming language seems to be so  segmented in the way that it uses strictly subsets of a particular language without using all of the natural structures of it. There is not a whole lot of documentation that I have found that really teach a view from the ground up about programming within The Ninox Platform.   I will definitely check out the links that you guys have provided, hopefully it will be a great starting point. Thank you so much for your input. If you can think of any place that I can go to that offers “ground up” training, that would be real helpful. Thanks again for all your help.

The nioxus YouTube channel, the reference list & the forum have been my primary resources so far. I've used a learning by doing attitude, which takes time but I'm grateful for everyone in the forum sharing helpful suggestions and concrete solutions.

These websites are most useful: https://www.nioxus.com/the-eye-ninox-newsletter.htm and https://proessays.org for learning about Ninox programming. There are useful materials both for beginners and experienced users.
