Bulk Update - populating linked field

I need to upate 600 odd records with a record from a linked table. How can I update them all at once to be this specific record?

When you say "update", do you mean you need to link them to a specific record? Do they have a common field?

Hi Sean, yes

Previously I was using the "User" field to assign a staff member. I've since created a table to list staff members (as not all are users of the DB) so I need to populate the linked field to match the user.

For example, I have interactions created by me (Sarah Chilby). I need to link all those records to the record in the staff table which is first name: Sarah surname: Chilby
