Set a field
When I select a record in a table, the form for that record opens,
which includes a field called "Reference". Since the record has many fields,
I have to scroll and lose sight of the "Reference" field.
Is it possible to make this field always visible on the screen, even when scrolling?
I'm using the desktop version 3.17.13 of Ninox for Mac OS.
Thanks in advance.

I don't think there is a way to have a field always visible in the form, as you scroll down. What I do is make the reference field the left-hand most field in the list, and make it so that this is still visible when the form opens

Hope that helps

Thank you very much, John. Since it's not possible to fix a field, what you suggested could be a good solution. Thank you for your input. Regards. -
Would be good if Ninox gave us the facility to have fixed headers and footers so we could place fields eg totals etc and always have them show.
At the moment I have used two workarounds on this
Based on your example I need to see a Jobnumber - qty and description at all times on the job records
1. earlier method used on Long forms that I had to scroll down on.
At strategic sections on the form, I used one or more formula fields (pointing to JobNumber) thus i could see the number as i scrolled down.
2. Later method (as found scrolling inefficient- ie I am lazy !)
I divided the form up into sections and put these onto Tabs (Tab1 Order details - Tab2 Delivery details - tab3 invoice details - Tab4 Follow up - Tab5 admin stuff etc so no scrolling needed
Then at the head of each tabbed page from tab 2 onwards I put formula fields at the head followed by a title line show me at the head the essential info I needed from Tab one ie Job Number date of order etc)
Nothing rocket science here but just me being pragmatic and practicable and what facilities we done t have. ( ie i would like a trigger action option on Open and Close a form record without modifying any data
Name the tabs to what you want of even vreat a table menu from a choice field - ether works
Also to ensure that a form is not let say on tab 3 when finished - I run a script to effecively reset all records back to tab 1.
