Date suddenly wrong

Dear all,

One of our users is suddenly seeing all the dates logged in the database backdated of one day. For example we have a date of 31/12/2021, he sees 30/12/2021.

The remaining 10 users don't have this issue so I suspect something is up with his computer. We tested two different browsers (Firefox and Edge) and the problem persists. He did not change laptop/browser recently, and it always worked fine before.

Can you think of a windows setting that might be influencing the way dates are displayed on Ninox? Could this be tied in any way to the 3.5.0 update that was just rolled out?

Many thanks,

Giovanni

You are not alone and it will not be the latetst version uodate as it hasbenn an issue for a while

I can't tell you the sulution as I often get this problem too (often but not aways)

I am guessing you are using the cloud version.

There have been many posts to the forum about the date function being 1 day off.

have a read of this thread ait might explain a bit more

    https://ninox.com/en/forum/technical-help-5ab8fe445fe2b42b7dd39ee7/today-function-returns-yesterdays-date-on-web-app-5c86e77d360e0b2b4ad98d7b

Ther is also a thead on this furom that explains quite clearly some local steps to check system wise - where multuple users were working okay but a few were not.

However at the moment I cannot find it. it may have even been a sub thread.

if i can find it I will post a link back here.

What i usaly use is date(now()) to get the right date. I think it has something to do with the location of the server. If that doesn't work, using the new function

correctedDate(datefield) might convert wrong dates to right ones.

Hi there.. does anyone knows if this issue has been solved. We are using the date field for departure dates for our tours as well as validity of prices. Our team is located globally. Data entry is done by a person in Australia and the date grids are extracted by somebody in Germany. please have a look below. the first grid is the person in Germany and the second grid is the one in Australia. Since we are using Ninox for our departure grids and we have around 100 tours with multiple departures, we cannot adjust that manually. I found this flaw in the system quite serious. Any solutions?
