I have found “Update multiple records” very useful so far.

I“d now like to update a field which is a reference to another table using a calculated value.

Is this possible? If so...

I have a table ”Referrals“ with a number field ”Referral ID“.

I have tried a few things such as:

(select Referrals)[”Referral ID“ = 129]

...the record I want to link to my multiple records, but can you tell me what the syntax would be in the ”Update multiple records“ context please?
