Default dynamic choice field
Why can't I force a default choice in dynamic choice fields? Is there a way to do this or am I missing something?

You are correct, there isn't a way to set in the field. One way would be to use Trigger on new record at the table level so when you create a new record it will set it to whatever you want. You just need the record Id of the record in the table that the dynamic choice field pulls from.
