Highlighting entries in table A that are selected as reference link in other tables.

I have a table of many contacts, and various other tables (applications, log, opportunities). Each of these tables have a reference column to contacts (akin to the example in the CRM Template database).

At times I find that the contacts are duplicated, and so (in order to remove the correct entry and not accidentally delete the contact details in the other tables), I wish to be able to see which of those fields is used in the other table, without having to manually search each of those other tables. Is there is a special filter somewhere, or a simple formula I can apply to put an x in a new column, or would I have to get into scripting?

I just realised that the link table entries are automatically included in the forms.

I guess you need to figure out a way to be able to enter in a contact and be sure it is not a duplicate. Let us know if you want to go down this path by starting a new post.
