Designing Dashboard or Home Screen
Hello friends,
I am trying to design a dashboard/Home Screen for my ERP database app. I am not able to divide the screen in two vertical parts (left side with some buttons like Clients, Sales, Invoices etc. and right side with some graphs).
I have used the Space element to create a vertical divider, however the screen is not getting aligned properly. I have even tried using multiple Space elements below each other, but it still does not work.
Someone mentioned that Ninox uses columns to layout the screen elements. When we put Space element on the form and increase its height, all the elements after that column (which contains the Space elements) are aligned at the bottom of their respective columns. The columns before the Space element are all aligned normally. Can't figure out why is this happening.
I have attached two screenshots, one the way I want to design the screen and other the way it is getting designed right now. In place of the Table on the right side, I will display charts.
Can someone please advise what am I doing wrong.
Thanks,
Vermaji

You are not doing anything wrong. Maybe think horizontal instead of vertical. Have the buttons on top stretching across the page instead of on the side stretching down.
