On Premise server migration and userid's
Hello all,
I am working on a physical server migration for an On-Premise Ninox database.
On the new server, I will have to recreate users with new ids assigned, and I guess how I will reconnect the newly created users to existing ones in restored database from the old server ? My concern is to reconnect not only users, but their created and modified records userids as well.
I can't find anything on this topic.
Thank you for your help by advance,

Migration can be a bit nerve-wracking, but generally, if you’re moving the entire database via a backup file, Ninox is pretty good at mapping the internal IDs. The main thing to watch out for is ensuring the user emails on the new On-Premise instance match the old ones exactly. If the emails align, the permissions usually link up without having to manually re-assign everything.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply ,
I could solve my problem just by copying the ums.json file from the old server to the new one. This file is stored in C:\ProgramData\Ninox and contains the list of users with their ID among other things. That way, users could connect to the new database smoothly, without even changing their password.
