Ninox to MS Word

Is it possible to link a Ninox table with MS Word mail merge? I would like to print a document with variable fields. Unfortunately the print function in Ninox (pdf) is not good.

    @Andrea

    Interesting use case.  Off the top of my head.. I see a few options.

    1.  Export your table and appropriate columns.. and then use MS Word Mail / Merge against the CSV file.

    2.  Venture into the world of VBScript .. and hit your Ninox Cloud database from VBScript and drive the mail merge process.

    3.  Something tremendously easy .. but I simply have not thought of.. :)

    I have created a douple side print within Ninox and placed the address where you could fold it.  I then printed all from the print engine and it sent a pdf to my printer.  I then folded each document and sent it out.  It was very easy once set up properly.

    Thank you for your feedback, limited as it is.

    Well, sorry for my previous curt response. I was reading the question on a phone and was too lazy to extend my disappointement.

    But in fact, mail merge shoiuld be an easy way to use databse data in usual office process. Creating a temporary CSV file and the feed the Word with it, seems to be working, but not for common officer.

    Regarding the VBA... Have you ever try use VB for appliactions on Word for Mac? I gave it up after few minutes. The IDE is so slow with reaction about 0,5 sec. It looks like a simuator running on Atari. I cannot imagine to use VBA on Mac for serious work, although on Windows I used it regularly and in Acces I wrote many apps with VBA automation.

    Now I moved to Apple world ans searching a replacement for Access. Didn't found it yet. Ninox looks nice, easy to use, but with very poor interface outside. Printing options are very basic, no scripting options, interchange with other apps - nothing but CSV. In beginning I liked NINOX, it looked very hopefully, but now seems to me it is a good in grab the data, managing it and present on a screen. Any output out of Ninox is a problem.

    Of course, you can use API and other paid solutions for extending Ninox capabilities. But in that case it looses its main advantage -  ease of use. You have to pay professionals to finish the rest of the work, you started.
