Ability to hide columns

I use formula(s) in tables to filter views I would like to be able to hide these columns to save space and keep users from making changes toat would allow them to see all of the data.

    Especially now that views can be embed there is no reason to show the column that filtered the data

    I would also like this ability for embeded charts.

     I use the formula 'Sensor Data' to display a chart of an embeded table. If I click the items in the legend, I can strike-thru that item, so the data does not appear in the chart. I would like the ability to specify that an item should be struck-thru by default, but is if a user wants to see that data, it is available.

    I second that. It would be very helpful to be able to hide columns in views that are used to filter and/or sort.

    Exactly the same I am looking for. Dont need to see the fiels witch is sorting the table, just wonna show relevant data and hide the others.
