Gantt view - how to setup?

Im looking for docs on how to setup a gantt view. I can easily add the view but I cant seem to find which fields i need to setup. By installing the Tasks template database I slowly found out that you have to add function fields to view and name them correct. 

• Start (function field)
• Planned End (function field)

For the longest time I just added them to table and thought it would work, but using function fields works fine and it is a smart way to do it to allow max flexibility.

Are there any more fields?

Any way to control color?

Any way to control text label?

Docs - I've searched and found https://docs.ninox.com/en/tutorial/basics/different-views but not any futher details. Can you point to any docs?
