How to lock a formula?

hello, I have a "price" field which is linked to a catalog, from this field, I make a quote. the problem is that when I change the price in my catalog, all my quotes are modified. how to lock the price once the quote has been sent. I hope to have been clear. thanks in advance.

    I guess you're using formula-fields to fetch the prices?  If you use static numeric field the price would stay the same and is even changable in different quotes/invoices. Have a look at the built-in template Invoices how it's done ( In the setting of the get article field you find a setting > trigger after update)
