I thought I had asked this recently, but how could I tell? This forum format is so outdated and difficult to use. Really folks, find a better solution. One that actually can be search, and shows a member's postings. There are so many better community forum setups out there.

How do I update multiple records linked to a pivot table? I have a table of items and a table of customers. I created a pivot table to connect the two and mark items as wanted by multiple customers. Works great until I want to take a subset of the items list and assign one customer to all the records in the subset. Can't be done. So painfully slow doing it one-at-a-time. So much so that it is not worth the time. How can I update the subset all at once?
