How to make a smaller save size with an archived database?
I needed to split tables off of an original database, so to do this I took the original database, made a backup, and then imported the archive using a different name and then deleted the tables I didn't want in both of the databases. The only problem with this is the save file is way too big to be split from the original database. So how do I reset the databases to make the save/backup files smaller?

I already tried the "Clear History" and "Rebuild Index" tools with no luck.

In the home screen of your database file you can choose "Export data". You'll see a popup dialog that lets you choose from CSV export, Excel export and Ninox. Choose Ninox and you can select which tables you want to export to a new database.

I'm not sure if i'm missing something, but all it has is new table and import data.

And i do have the permissions to export

Which platform are you using Ninox on? I'm using it on macOS.

I want to export an ENTIRE TABLE, but I cannot figure out how to navigate to this "Export data" screen with all these option to export each table. I can, however, export a "view" from a table. I'm using the web-based edition, if that matters. Thank you in advance for your help!

I think the above screen only applies to the IOS stand alone version for Mac. You can however make a backup of the entire database by clicking next to the database-icon (on the top-right of it). There you can chose to make a backup...

Thanks. That is what i suspected. I am familiar with backing up and downloading a backup, but was hoping to get a complete table into Excel WITHOUT having to make a view with all of the fields. Hopefully this function will be added to the online version at some point soon. Cheers!

Well.. depending on your level of expertise.. Looks like you can consume a JSON feed within Excel / PowerQuery..

I have not tried it.. but seems plausable.
