Database locked up?

I've sent a ticket request in to Ninox but in the meantime I thought I would see if anyone has any suggestions...

I made a change to some code in my database and when I hit Save on the Fields interface, I got a spinner. That last a long time. A long time.

So I shut down my browser and tried again. Same thing.

No matter what I do, I can't make changes to that code and then save them (I'm trying to remove my last changes, thinking maybe they affected the database somehow. No ideas.)

Further, I also can't add records to any of the tables.

Something is broken I guess. Can anyone suggest things I can do on my end while I wait for support?

    Just a quick addition - So I backed up the database and re-imported it. The imported one works fine. However, the old one cannot be renamed, deleted, have records added or deleted, nada.

      Kent Signorini I am guessing you are on the web version. I had this issue some 18 months back and in the end had to resort to a previous backup. It turned out that it had got locked on the Ninox server and thus was no longer responding. Until they gave their system a kick and cleared the offending DB.

      To be fair it has only ever happened once - so i would no go worrying!.

      As with all things having a back up always pays! and glad to hear that you are up and running again.
