This is regex-syntax. This means: A word followed be a dot followed by another word. That would be the file name like "name.ext".

i've tried to import images in my database but not working
on the database
table : collection
1 field type image, name : image 1
1 field type string , name : nom image1
record 1 : name : lot1.jpg
record 2: name : lot2.jpg
on my mac :
folder with images named : lot1.jpg, lot2.jpg
open database : Table : collection
key field : nom image1
file pattern : (\w+)\.(w+$
import directory (chosed my folder / open / import files )
message import done ,
save database
import database on my ipad,
but no image
What i'm doing wrong ?

Hello,
please send a message to support@ninoxbd.de.
It would be helpful if you could include the Ninox database you are working on (Main menu -> "Save Archive as...") and some of the pics you want to import. I'm sure we can figure this out.

I have tried many regex syntax but i dont find for import the file name type :
0328_F_2016_10_15_Déménagement_GAMMA_YVERDON_000001937_bulletin.xlsm
with accent for french.
Any Help?

I am trying to import files from a folder on my desktop.
I follow the procedure, but without success.
My files have lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers, accents, strokes, etc ... , anyway, it's in french the names of my files.
Some help?
