How do I utilize a tooltip?

I haven’t been able to see a tooltip when I add something to the tooltip box. Am I doing something wrong?

Are you hovering the mouse pointer over the field you added the tooltip to? I've tried it with a Text field and Formula field and they both work.

I do not seem to be able to find a way to show tooltips on the ipad

Hi,

As the tooltip is triggered by the mouse over effect and you do not have a mouse on your ipad, it will not work there.

I have alread set it in our list of requested features.
