Importing dropdown lists

I have a csv file where some of the fields were dropdowns (=select one item from a list). When I import the csv file and set a set a field to "Choice" in the import assistant, the column comes up empty. How can I fix this? Ninox seems to ignore the field content unless I classify the field as text, but then I've lost the dropdown list!  Thanks. Apart from that Ninox is a great programme.

You have to make sure that they are spelled exactly as the choice field in ninox :) if the choice is Apple with a captial A, you have to write it the same way in the csv file. :)

Sorry, I don't understand. I just reimported the csv file. In the "Fields to import" dialogue, the field "ON STAGE" is spelled exactly the same in both boxes. When I click "Next" to see the preview, the "ON STAGE" column has no values in it. Other columns, which I've defined as "Text" not "Choice", show values but are text fields not dropdowns. Other CRM programs seem to read the values and turn them into dropdown choices, but that doesn't seem to be happening here. I can't see where I can reconcile spellings to fix it?

I should add that the context here is that I'm importing a csv file as a basis for creating a table in Ninox.
