The New IPhone Display Mode

I don't use the Iphone for any data/ entry etc, except for to check things like orders/daily sales - profit figures (which usually make we want to cry !) which the ability to see info from the cloud on my phone when standing in the middle of a field is fantastic. However I have always found the display mode to be a bit clunky as the form of display is somewhat boxy/modular and old school looking and not as I see it on my Mac (or Ipad).

Well I tried out the new display mode for the phone that lets you see all the forms/childs forms as intended and as I designed (subforms /tabs etc) .

Great step forward!!! (and you can flick back and forth) - down side you have to do a fair bit of scrolling in all directions to see all the display.

All I need now is an Iphone with a display screen the size of my mac! 😁

Either way - thank you Ninox for giving us more choice!

      Fred On the Iphone, on top right is a gear. Clicking on the gear brings up the settings where you can switch between New design or classic design.

    Yes as I said it's great - You get the style you designed across the mac/ipad and iphone. But the price you pay is you end up doing do a but more scrolling etc...left.right up/down - where as the block work layout (Classic) was generally just up/down...

    Now when Apple invents a folding phone that opens out twice to the size of an A4 sheet at least Ninox will be ready and waiting!! 😋

      RoSoft_Steven Rooryck Do you know if there is a special requirements for this?

      I have the latest version both on my Mac and iPhone, my DB on iCloud so it sync between the devices but I do not have an option behind the gear  icon on my iPhone. The only choices I have are Manual, Support, Connect to server and change language.. and to Rate Ninox.

      Also if NINOX read this - any plan to have the display change if I "tilt" the iPhone?

      I also tried (but realise it was not a function (yet!?) ) to create an alternative form for the table so I can have a special for the iPhone.

      Hi Niclas,

      Normally the button to switch between the 'modes' is just above the Rate Ninox button.

      Do you use the latest version of the iphone app? Current version is 3.5.14

       My current version is 3.8.14 but there are just "Don't forget!" & "Rate Ninox" two buttons. Why😥？

       Ninox has recently released a universal version of the Ninox app on ipad and iphone. The old 'legacy' version will no longer be supported/updated soon. Not sure which version you have though....

       Thank you for your reply. I used the new " Ninox " version, not the "Legacy". Is that possible only the owner can see? I'm an admin. Not sure😅

    Thanks for quick reply.  I have  the current verion on an iPhone 7 but there is no option (switch) above the rate ninox : - (

      havrup Hi, next (left) to the gear on iPhone you can login. After you login the option for the new design shows up.

    Personally, I find it kinda distracting even though I kinda get used to my apple watch always on display but on the iPhone 14 pro, it always gives me the feeling that the screen is not off which is annoying.
