is there a formula to disconnect the link field to a table ?

i would like to disconnect the field linked to the table with a formula. I am trying to disconnect the field when i update another link field.

I hope i've been clear. thanks in advance for your help.

You can use:

referencefieldname := null

that will clear out the selection.

I use a button with 'fieldname' := 0. The button label I use which can be found under WIN+; search for link. If you are on a MAC I'm not sure how to get 'link'
