Practical database to use/learn the Ninox API

I am providing a small sample database here so that you can try it out for yourself and understand how the options shown in the Ninox documentation work in practice with the Rest API.

It is intended to support Ninox users who have little or no knowledge of how the Ninox API works, but perhaps even more experienced Ninox users can benefit from it.

You load the database into your team and the rest should be self-explanatory.

Note:
In the settings in the respective form, the following selections are decisive for you for the time being: 'Ninox Rest-API' and 'curl'

The other two options serve to illustrate how API access can work with these third-party programmes.
The corresponding blueprints for these third-party programmes are stored in the form.
However, the blueprints for the third-party programmes are not yet available for all practical examples and will be added to gradually.

Apart from your API key, you do not need to make any other settings to be able to work with them.
The database works in the public/private cloud and automatically recognises which system it is currently working with and adjusts the URL accordingly.

If 'Ninox-Rest-API' is selected, a result is of course returned.

However, what I think is much more important for you is that it shows how the http request for this result is structured so that you can learn from it.

A table with a few fields is integrated in the database to illustrate how to work with records via the API.

In addition, you can create a curl query with the option of testing it directly in practice.
A special feature here is the additional representation of the NinoxScript, which you can copy/paste into your own application as a script template with the necessary adjustments for your database.

I would like to thank 'ben-lucas' for their active support.
