Convert Table into sub-table

Is it possible to take a main Table and incorporate it into a new Table but as a sub-table?  I see there is a way to import data from within Ninox itself, but I don't know if that's the way to approach this.

I have a main table in which the individual events each have their own record line. There are several events each day.  I want to create a new table and insert the current table as a sub so that the record rows will be the culmination of the entire day's worth of events.  

Do I have to start over from the top?

    Yes you can!

    Let's call the existing main table: Events

    Create a new table, e.g.: Dates (with desired fields Date, Time etc).

    Now, in the Events table create a reference to Dates table and set the Compotition option to Yes. This way the Dates table would be the Parent table and the Events table would be the Child table.

     

    Finally make the connections, create new Date record and select the relational Events.
