Formula fields with images

I'm using a formula box to refer to images in other tables. When doing so, the formula field auto adjusts to the full size of the image rather than the size I've set up on the for.  The result is that my forms be come distored. Is there a way to have an image sized to fit the size of the formula field I've created on the form?
