Display image from a remote server?

I“m told I can display an image in a record where the image resides on a remote server. I know how to get my images onto my remote server, but what do I need to do in my record field setup so the remote image displays in the record?

I think I knew that way. It's way to much code. I have about 3000 images is my DB. I was having trouble with iCloud sync. Ninox told me it was not a problem with Ninox. SO sad to find that it was. My DB works now even though getting it to load takes a long time. I'm very disappointed how much my time Ninox wasted suggestiong solutions to a problem they knew they had. And soiluttions that they probably knew would not solve the problem.

Oh sorry to hear.  It is interesting hear about this issue with large databases.  I just started with Ninox about 14 days ago, my idea is to catallogue my collection of banknotes including imagery.  Each image is about 1 Mb (300 DPI), currently I have more than 1000 ... of course this number continues growing.  Currently the size of my DB is 700 Mb and I don't even have 5% of the banknotes, I am also wondering how this will perform in the future.

Currently I am using iCloudDB,  but I doubt this will be sustainable, I believe I will end up moving the database locally to my laptop.  The Cloud solution should actually be the fastest, but I am not willing to dish out 100 EUR yearl for that, besides considering the 2 GB limit will not be enough for my needs,  the next plan is to crazy expensive for me.

If you have any suggestions on how to keep my DB under control please let me know.

Your DB should work fine locally. My problem was getting the DB, which I manage on my Mac, to appear via iCloud on my iPad and iPhone. Ninox has improved that, but like I siad, it can take a long time to load on the iOS. I can wait 5 minutes before my DB will open. The Ninox cloud works fine. Ninox gave me a 30 day test account to confirm that. But like you, I cnanot justify the subscription cost to get something to work that Nonox claims works with iCloud. I'm a single user with only a few databases.

Looking into this myself. Can someone enlighten me, what is iCloudDB?

I fully understand what iCloud is, but never heard of iCloudDB?
