RESTORING DELETED REFERENCES

I just managed to delete a whole bunch of references between two tables.

I have DATA linked to LEADER in a 1:n relationship: every leader is assigned to one of 220 countries in DATA, which carries stats for countries.

In the past I've found the easiest way to updata DATA was to import a new cvs file, deleting existing records and creating new ones. This time around I did the same thing, forgetting the DATA records were now linked to LEADERS.

So two urgent questions:

(1) Is there any way to restore the links without manually reassigning each of 400 leaders to a country?

(2) Next time how can I update DATA without replacing records?

    Hi David,

    (1) The quickest way would probably be to restore the whole database:

If you have a Ninox Cloud subscription and you have stored your data in a Ninox Cloud team:

You can manage automatically generated backups of your Ninox Cloud databases.

In your Ninox team, please click on "Manage backups" and select "Automated backups" in the window that opens.
There you will see the date entries of all available backups of the respective database.
Select the desired date and click on the "Restore" button.
The restored database will then be saved under the same name and the addition (Restore) in your team.

    (2) You should set at least 1 field as "Key" so that Ninox can match exisitng records an import lines. If you choose "update fields" right beside the field mapping. The chosen field will be updated. If you you do not want the update the reference fields choose "Update only empty fields" or remove the field from the mapping.

    Kind regards, Jörg
