I have a table that won“t allow fields to stack on top of one another.
I have a table that won“t allow fields to stack on top of one another. I have a large address box and then wanted to put phone number and email next to it on two lines as the address box is deep enough. However, it will only let me put fields in line with the address field with a large space above them if they aren”t the same depth. How can I change this?

In short you can“t - This is because all nixox field sit in a grid 4 sections wide. So if you grow your field(s) - ie say a mutlipline address field in height as you (and me!) require. Then all other fields on the same gridline align to and at the baseline of each other and thus any space above those cannot be used for more fields etc. Frustrating I know but i guess Nnox have done the grid system in such a way that it makes it portaable and compatible with IPad and Iphone. There was suggestion some time back on this very forum that maybe should or consider making the files free flow so thay can be placed anywhere on th page grid rather than in fixed invisible grids.
To date - I don”t know if Ninox delvelopment are considering this
