Hide a record?

How do I hide a record?

I guess you can create a "view" .. and exclude / hide based on your criteria... .. Or create an attribute "hide row" and set it to true . and create a view and show only rows where "hide row" is false ??? Just an off the cuff approach.

Everything I consider is essentially a work around to a simple "Hide Record" command. I understand the issues that type of command might create, but if Ninox had a Showing X # records of Y total records indication in the toolbar, then this would work fine.
