Change the row height in views on Dashboard

So we all know that you can change the row height on table rows

from this

to this etc

But I would like to know if it is possible to change the height from the default view row height in table views on the dashboard - I can't see any built in legal route to do this. So wonder is there is a html/Css hack that could work. I don't need to vary the height but just want to close it up so it looks like image 1 above as at the moment the fixed height is somewhat wasteful and i would like to get more records to show on the page without having to scroll the data.

Doable ?

I am hoping 'padding' is going to be cleaned up with the UI update.  Would be great to have pixel control on placement of elements.

Now wouldn't that be nice - are you saying you have some intel on this ? 🙂I've

Communicated with support on this to see if in the plans etc and to ask why we can altere the orws on the main tables but not on views/child tables place on a form or within "Pages"  Dashboards to most of us seasoned users.

They asked me to send over some image evidence that you can alter the table row height. - interesting this is this was a particular feature they released several versions ago. Might you that only works on my mac but not on ipad etc.

At this point, I don't know how it would not be possible with just CSS. Ninox builds the Table HTML using the top property to place the rows vertically. That means you would have to adjust the top property for I believe 23 rows. It might be possible with CSS calc(), but I really don't know.

By the way, the default Table row height is 40px. The minimum row height is 28px and the maximum row height is 120px. It would be nice if it had a "snap" feature to let you know when you are at 40px. (I just found out the "resize bar" disappears briefly when you reach 40px)

Ah that sounds interesting and technically row height of 28 px is what i am after wherever ever a table view is shown... however @seans post below might indicate that Ninox has dropped it altogether...... probably explains why support asked what it is !!
