Is it possible to detect this mode?

I thought userHasRole("admin") could be used for this, but a user's rights are not the same thing as being in 'Administration' mode or not.

I am the only user so I don't want to have to create multiple users and have to switch back and forth. it would however be very handy to be able to detect whether in 'Admin' mode or not.

Can this be done? I have searched the manual and forum but can find no reference to this.
