To replace a letter or a number at the end of a word

Are you going to be replacing the last letter or number with a static letter or number, i.e. everything will end with "X". or will it vary depending on what it finds?

If it varies what are the different ways you need to change the last letter?

if this is just a data correction job then:

1) filter for Elephand

2) right click on a number in the table and click on Select All

3) click on the Gear icon and select update multiple records

4) select the appropriate field and type in the new data

5) verify that the change is what you want and then click on Execute Update

repeat for all other changes.

ok, to clarify step 2.

2) for iPad user,  in table view, click on the rectangle icon with two lines that is next to the Search box then click on Select All

you have to do a select all before you do a "massive modification of datas".

after you typed in "Accepiterus" and clicked Next did it show any records being modified or was the screen blank?
