Print Layouts - Cloud - Text(multi) and Rich Text printing issues

On the print view via Cloud my Rich Text and Mulit Text boxes retain the proper formatting. When I print to PDF, they lose the “end of line” or carriage returns. How can I prevent this from happening?  I tried using a Formula field with “HTML()” to contain the text from the boxes but that didn“t help. Any other suggestions?
