Dynamic printing - errors when repeating fields in separate lists

I have a dynamic printing template in MS Word containing two lists

The second list is nested inside the first (So, a list of records and within it is a list of the associated records from a one-to-many relationship)

I use the reserved [i] and [i+1]

Both lists have images

This works well

I am trying to add a third list at the front of the document, to contain two fields already in use in one of the existing lists.

When I run this, it affects the image fields in the subsequent lists (the image in the primary record is repeated, and the images in the secondary records don’t print.)

Carbone document is not novice-friendly. I’m not sure I’ve explained the issue very well but, if I have, does anyone have any pointers for me?

Thank you in advance.

Note: I have solved this issue by changing the alt-text in the images in the report. When I just had the two lists in the report the images would not print if I included [i] and [i+1]; I could only use those reserved letters in the text components. I added them back and now all lists print without corrupted images.
