Formula turns into letter references

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I am adjusting some of the structure of my app, and therefore have removed some fields and added new ones. This consequently breaks all formulas referencing the deleted field. Normally you can go into the formula editor and adjust the broken reference, however mine now just gives a string of nondescript reference letters, making is very difficult to fix the script short of writing it all again. Occasionally I can figure out the problem section and remove it, and then when I save and go back in, it returns to the normal reference strings. Other times, I try and remove it, and then Ninox takes issues with another section of the code.

Photos are attached.

First photo shows what the text should look like in the "Trigger after update"

Second photo shows what comes up when you open up the "Trigger after update" to edit it.

This is standard Ninox DB structure practice.  All fields are 'behind the scenes' given those fieldnames.  In effect what you see on screen sort of becomes an alias.  When you delete a field /remove the alias so to speak Ninox cannot find your field and places it's own reference in it's place.

    Thanks Alan for your response.

I understand that the letter references are part of the Ninox backend. I just had had found it curious that when deleting a field in the past, only the specific part of that formula would change to the letter reference, but in this instance, the whole scrip would change (even the parts that were still "good"). Not something that I have experienced before.
