Fields as a Global Variable on Mac app
Been trying this new feature without any success. If I use a choice field and select an item, nothing selects until I move to another record. If fact Ninox doesn't acknowledge the choice until its refreshed. Similar with other field types. Plus if I try to assign a value to the field in a script, like any normal field type, Ninox just hangs forever. I have the latest macOS (11.4), the latest Ninox (3.3.4) version for mac, even tried with a fresh boot and a new database. All same results. I have been in touch with support and even sent a testing db, and they say it works for them. So my question for mac app users is, does fields as a global variable work you?

Thanks for the link. I missed that when searching, and couldn't find much in the bug list database. As you describe is what I am finding as well. I wonder why Ninox support said it worked for them. Maybe they were using an internal version that isn't relased yet? I'll wait to see next version.

I interpret the blog post, https://ninox.com/en/blog/ninox-version-update-330 , to mean that it only works in the browser version. It worked for me when I tried it in the browser version, but not the the Mac version. It also shows "(Browser)" in "Binding" section of the edit field dialog.
